Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Time Limited, Solution Focused

CBT helps you better understand the relationship between your thoughts and behaviours by building new ways of thinking and behaving that help to break any negative cycles. CBT aims to be time-limited and focuses on your current circumstances.

It offers a practical approach to helping you improve your state of mind on a day-to-day basis by giving you tools that you can continue to use once your therapy sessions have ended.

Sessions are weekly and exercises are set between sessions to maximise the benefit. It should be noted that CBT is not a ‘quick fix’, but requires commitment to change.

A Tower of Stones

Michelle was absolutely what I needed. She has given me the tools to use which improves my confidence and overall my wellbeing. In short, she is amazing and a life saver. It has had a huge impact on my wellbeing and how I handle my depression & anxiety. It has taught me how to change the things within my capabilities and coping strategies.

I found that I was helped to understand the reasons towards my problems and to find ways to create solutions to make them better. Michelle was very helpful, kind and was easy to talk to about personal issues. I never felt judge or untrusted. Thank you for all the support you have helped me take a step forward to getting through this.
